THEMOVIEDOC.COM aspires to become a reference in the movie blogging world and needs writers to grow. We’re currently at 840 000 on the Alexa rank (17 000 in Canada), so it’s going well, but we feel we can aim even higher. If you feel passionate about cinema and you share my dream, THE MOVIE DOC needs you as a volunteer writer. I’m talking about the wordpress here, not the Tumblr.
Yes, it’s a volunteer position, meaning that you have no salary. As of now, I’m making about 20 cents per month, which is pretty far from Zuckerberg’s bank account. Still, it provides a great experience if you love writing and if we work together, the website can only grow.
Required Qualifications:
- Grasp the concepts of the inverted pyramid and SEO. (Very important)
- Some experience in journalism or at least show your writing skills.
- Love movies and hate celebrity gossips. We admire Cinematical and Slashfilm.
- Have a sense of humor.
